Valley Youth Summer Band Camp 2010

Valley Youth Summer Band Camp finished out this year's session with at double concert at the Benton County Fair.

This is a unique summer opportunity for Willamette Valley area band students.  The typical middle or high school student invests several months, practicing and refining assigned music to performance levels.  In our summer camp environment, students are presented with four practices, followed by four performance venues!

The practices take place at Corvallis High School and 2010's performances were held at Saturday Farmer's Market, the OSU Quad, a Riverfront performance and the Benton County Fair.  Music selections included:  Abbeyton Ridge, Thunder, Billie Jean and Born to be Wild!

Photo galleries of all performances can be found under the photo link for Valley Youth Summer Band Camp 2010 or clicking the same photo link in the sidebar below.

Many thanks to Mr. Price for sharing his summer time with the students ~ !  Special thanks to Micah Meyers and his Grandfather for their photo contributions!
